can in puerto rich, gc. clear yellow smooth white head. aroma is very faint, but you might get some apple. flavor is delicate apple cider, with good sour notes, not very strong flavors, but it does taste pretty good, almost like apple juice, just a tiny bit added from fermentation.

Boks 500ml fra butikk i Plymouth. Delt med Rune på Copthorne Hotel Plymouth 22 Sep 16. Gyldengulbrun. Middels høyt kritthvitt skum med tynne filigranser. Lett maltaroma. Smaken mais & malt. Lett syrlig etter hvert.

Bottle, 0.5l. Pours cloudy copper body with two finger white head with some lacing. Malts on the nose, lots of yeast, a bit herbal, touch of caramel. Medium body with creamy texture. Regular carbonation, just the right amount to bring out the flavours on the tongue. Aroma of malts, yeast, hops, caramel, licorice, wood. A bit peppery, slightly boozy. Pretty well rounded drink. Moderately bitter. Pretty dry finish. Overall, tasty one.

Rated from old notes from the 90s. Creamy head that fades quickly in the canned version; watery body. Dark with a cloying sweet and rich taste. Seems rather flat despite evident carbonation. Accoding to my drinking companion of the time this was originally pitched to women as an alternative to Guinness, but with fewer calories.

Draught, pint. Clear amber color with thick creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of toffee, grass, flowers and spices. Taste starts with moderate sweet toffee and toasted malt, follows by dried fruity note and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Rated from the past, one of my first non lagers...

500ml can picked up from a store in Plymouth. Bright golden body under a frothy white head. Fair lacing. Modest smell of pale malts, dry. Subdued taste profile of cereal added by sweet citric hints. Foamy in-mouth feel. Very standard lager beer (shared with Finn, hotel room, Plymouth 22.09.2016).

Keg tap at the Five Bells, Tydd St Mary. Cloudy, takes ages to settle. When it does clear, there is an insipid brown liquid before me with a creamy head. Smells of almost nothing. I think the glass has more aroma. A harsh metallic tinge and some breadfruit. Tastes ok. Some light bitterness with a touch of milky astringency. Drinkable but a last-choice option.
