Intense alcoholic nose. The beer starts mild fruity. Easy to drink, soft alcoholic, slightly grainy with a warming caramelly bitterness. Rye whisky there, grain with an intense thick burned tar finish. Nice.

Smooth mild fruity beginning. Easy to drink, moderate grainy with a woody and slightly sourish back. Wine is there, wood with lots of malty red wine. (Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 17.09.2022, thanks VastActiv, 20210424) The beer poured pale golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had vanilla, tartness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, vanilla, wood, sourness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart, woody and bitter.

33cl bottle. Thx Vastactiv. Poured unclear, straw color. Tartness, fliral notres, some spiciness and sweet notes as well. Pleasant, refreshing.

Bottle at Ardes residence, Helsinki. Thanks rauchbierlover! Color is cloudy light golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, wheat, malts, sourness...some sugary sweetness? OK.

Lemke Maibock, Fläschchen von Hit Ullrich in der Mohrenstraße (der Supermarkt der Kanzlerin). - Orangegold, fast klar. - In der Nase leicht karamelliges Malz und milde aber hintergründige, fein orangenfruchtige und leicht blumige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt und tief hellmalzig mit feiner Karamelnote und schöner, verhalten orangenfruchtiger Hopfenherbe. Leicht getreidig, dezent malzsüß. Milder rezent, mit der nötigen Schwere aber nicht plump. Im Abgang leicht trocken mit feiner zitrusfruchtiger Herbe. - Schöner, runder und eleganter Maibock, anfangs etwas zurückhaltend aber überzeugend. (20.4.2021.)
