Throwdown. Hazy red-brown. Sweaty and vaguely smoky with a caramelized breadiness. There’s a little cherry rumminess. Lightly roasted finish. Easy drinking and very pleasant.

Medium beige head does not last. Hazy dark red-brown body. Smoky salty licorice aroma, very harmonic. Dry-sweet roasty smoky salty licorice taste with earthy citric fruity notes. Light, sharpish, mid-bodied. Long peppery spicy aftertaste. Very nice. (0.75l bottle from Erronius.)

A thick and heavy tripel. Coriander and yeast in the aroma. Some flavor of flowers, and lightly sweet malt, with a finish of dry hops. Interesting take on the style, with the sweet wheat character and dry hops. The high abv is well hidden. Thanks to Islay for sharing this one.

Appropriate for a Spring seasonal. The aroma has Belgian yeast with flowers and herbs, like new vegetation after winter. Cloves and other spices in the flavor, some wheat. Brown color and a medium palate. I might have called this a spiced beer. Thanks to Islay for sharing this one.

Århus2008. 75 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a minimal lacing white head. Aroma is spiced and malty. Flavour is dry and hoppy with a solid dry spiced note. Ends dry and spiced. Slight soapy flavoured/mouthfeel too, too much hops perhaps.
