Bottle: Murky brown coloured, quickly vanishing fluffy head; sweet-fruity, christmas-cake-like nose (dried fruit, cinnamon); quite full sweet taste, medium to full bodied; warming alcohol in the sweet-spicy finish, illusions of hops in the aftertaste. Not bad, but not great........

Tap @ de Molen, bottle @ home. Dark black color, short brown head. Intense aroma of roasted malt, some peat, chocolat, roasted coffee, some hop, bit tar and varnish. Strong oily taste of chocolat, coffee, roasted malts, very nicely balanced. Very bitter palate, oily. What a tribute. Additional notes: had another bottle of at least 1 year old. Ages sublime. Aroma already has some delicious port notes in it, which match very well with chocolat and coffee.

Tap @ de Molen. Clear orange color, short head. Aroma of loads of hops, but still soft, grapefruit, pine, slight caramel malt. Very fruity taste, bitter ofcourse, but not stringent, still soft and balanced. Great stuff.

Tap @ de Molen. Clear dark brown color, short brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, peaty smoked malt, some hop, slight fruity. Taste has again peat in it, along with dark chocolat, good bitterness. Very nice stout.

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak citric and fruity aroma. Cloudy, almost muddy, yellow colour. Small, frothy, but stable, white head. The flavour is a lot better than expected, but not so pilzy. Fruity flavour with a hint of sweetness. Good dry bitterness.

Bottle. Slightly fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely sweet and fruity, ending on a quite bitter note, slightly rough. High carbonation. Tastes like a pale ale to me, and a quite good one.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, reddish brown colour with a big and slowly lacing light-beige foamy head. Sweet and yeasty toast-malty aroma with liquorice, light fruity notes of dried berries, vanilla and spicy and even a bit piney hops. Moderately sweet flavour with a balancing level of bitterness, full bodied and soft on carbon. Solid malty base, moderately toasted with caramel, liquorice and subtle fruity notes; sweet and bitter malt-accented finish with a warming alcoholic touch and a pleasant herbal and spicy hops character. Excellent Dutch Bock.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Yeasty/cheasy notes. Moderate bitter flavor, very acetic but nice. Average finish. Oily palate but too fizzy.

From bottle, no 7 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy deep orange to amber and with a diminished white head. Acidic aroma and with a mild berry note. Somewhat subdued sweaty note reaches my nose. Flavour holds a nice sweet caramel flavour with a mild acidity lingering inbetween. Ends with a lingering malt sweetness and a bitterness into the finish.
