Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. Bright clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Mildly caramel sweet malts. Fruity juniper, not too spicy. Licorice? A whisper on the back end which is light and crisp. Entertaining.

Okay, 2nd attempt at getting Brewver to accept this rate, should not be this hard guys, just saying! Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry. Smooth creamy sweet malts, loads of caramel and toffee, not overly sweet. Rich rice fruits, prune, date and more. Quality cognac, so very smooth and slightly alcohol spicy. Wonderful barleywine, good malt base and fantastic barrelling.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before August 2028. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and quite roasty aroma of soft cake, dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and port. Rather sweet, malty, quite roasty, rather vinous-fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, soft cake, port, licorice, roasted hazelnut and some oak, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, slightly woody-dry and moderately boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad, quite complex, not very harmonious or sophisticated though. Should have checked what that Pim's is about before buying. Don't think that soft cake and port barrel match that well.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Caramelly, woody nose. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and wood, notes of cinnamon. Mildly warming finish.
