Bottle shared at RJ’s brewpub while prepping minced meat, courtesy of Marko. Quite okay stout all in all, the body is there, it’s medium to full and silky enough, cacao’s obvious and so is the artificial cake but it’s not painful just yet.

10 year old bottle shared with the boys, kind courtesy of Imro. Probably past its zenit, but still holding up quite well for its age. No carhonation at all, pleasant bourbon notes here and there, smooth sipper all around.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Marko. Golden pour, white head. Phenolic wit, with hints of grass and actual weed (or maybe I’m just projecting), some fruity notes too and a decent bitterness. There’s something in therr, maybe fusels, or I’m not sure, that’s ruining it tho. The finish a bit soapy as well.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Marko. Citrus notes on the aroma, orange shows mainly, also a hint of guava, pretty muted all in all, reminds me of candy in a way. Taste is similar, tart, showing orange and passion fruit, some citrus zest, super simple acidity. One dimensional, but not painful.
