2016 vintage bottle at home. Pours black with beige head. Nose is led by an interesting, vineous, kinda acidic, kinda fruity character that I’m guessing is the brett. Below that there’s chocolate, coffee and roasted malts but it’s far not as strong as one’s expect in a stout. Taste is that red grape and cherry-like fruity character, dark chocolate, some woody depth to it’s but not significant. A bit boozy, coffeeish, light to moderate bitterness too. Closes with a warming, mainly sweet finish but with a touch of bitterness toit, has a medium to full body and soft carbo. The brett gave it a fruity vineous character rather than the expected funk and the barrel aging is very hard to pick up as well. A decent RIS with an interesting twist but expected more tbh.

Bottle at home. Pours black with a quickly disappearing beige head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, faint smoke. Taste is moderately sweet booze and dark malts, showcasing coffee, dark chocolate molasses and booze with bitterish hints. Closes with bittersweet finish, has a light to medium body and soft to average carbonation. Decent baltic porter and if it had more body and character it could’ve been even better.

Bottle at home, courtesy of my fam. Pours a not particulaly inviting dark goldenish colour with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is light esters, honey, booze and smoked ham. Tastewise it's sweet and rather heavy on the bacon/smoked ham notes that I like a lot. Apart from this there are hints of candi sugar, esters and honey and maaaybe a touch of cinnamon too. The finish is smoked ham again, and some malty/honey sweetness. Light to medium bodied, drinks well below the ABV. The carbonation is way too soft, especially considering that it's supposed to be a tripel. Speaking of which I didn't get much of that character, but it's a rather tasty beer nevertheless, has a touch of Schlernerla vibe to it too, that I'm admittedly a fan of.

Bottle at home, couetesy of Marko. Purpleish pour with a thin head. Nose is a nice enough mix of the berries and some citric, somewhat earthy, fruity hops. Taste is big berry boom, almos nothing else, it’s tartish, slightly acidic, dry with a mediun bitterness. This is a hoppy fruit beer at best, but not a NEIPA.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before August 2028. Black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, quite fruity aroma of molasses, whisky, dark fruits, vanilla and light chocolate. Rather sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite fruity and rather boozy taste of molasses, caramel, whisky, vanilla, dark fruits, apple indeed, some chocolate and a touch of oak, followed by a long, moderately bitter, peppery-boozy and minimally woody finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, unfortunately also rather boozy and a bit too fizzy. Still a treat.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', bottled in November 2024. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee beans, roasted nuts and some banana. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, roasted nuts, vanilla and some banana, followed by a medium long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Much better than expected, not nearly as sweet and messy as I feared it would be. Overall fairly roasty and bitter with a subtle touch of banana, not artificial at all.

Tap @ Kufle i Kapsle, Warsaw. Quite clear amber body with a tan head. Nice and complex aroma with lots of malt, some caramel, dry fruit and vinous. Flavor is nice and sweet with the same elements as aroma and some wooden flavors in addition. A really well made, balanced ale for slowly sipping with a complex taste. Full bodied and long, rich aftertaste.
