From the sterk, Amsterdam, bottled in 2018. Serving this beautiful thing, yesterday, at the afternoon. For me, it was just great, baltic porter brewed rather on the American/English way, so smooth, so malty, sweet, toffee, vanilla, regular bitterness, 21.09.23

I drank this beer at the pibar, Lausanne, it is the beer to sleep, roasted malt, vanilla, liquor, beer to enjoy slowly at 12-14 degrees, 03.05.16

Donker roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is fruitig zoet met veel toffee en wat banaan en chocolade. Helaas kan de overheersende toffee smaak me niet echt bekoren.

0.33 bottle. A sör kitöltve gyönyörű szép mahagóni színű, sárgás sűrű habbal. Aroma: karamell, keksz, édességek, medvecukor..nagyon jó, ahogy melegszik intenzívebb. Test: tömör, komoly, szirupos, szinte csoda, hogy folyékony.. viccen kívül: nagyon testes, de mégis selymes lágy korty. Az alkohol szépen elbujtatva. Íz: komplex, édes maláta alapon szirupos, aszalt gyümölcsös, vaníliás, sütis, égetett cukros. Nagyon komoly desszert sör. Oké, hogy quadrupel, de ennyire jóra nem számítottam . Remek!!!!

Troebel donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter zoet en fruitig met veel zoet fruit zoals mango, sinaasappel en ananas en wat bitterheid wat niet echt overheerst. Uitstekend bier.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en fruitig met iets van sinaasappel, wat hars en geroosterd brood. Fijne fruitige zacht bitterzoete afdronk, heel goed.

Backlog May 2009. Dark red-brown body under a dense beige head. Strong aroma of dark malt with hint of liquorice and alcohol. Taste is sweet, yet harmonic with sweet, dark malt, some liquorice, hint of dry fruit and gentle bitterness with warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste.
