330 ml bottle. Pours a lightly hazed brown with light head. Aromas of cognac, calvados, raisins. soft oak, canid sugar, and bready malts. Flavors follow same; more calvados and malts are much drier. A little boozy but still very tasty

Second round for this beer. Best before in 2021 and still good. For this time, I had again a good experience, on the way of a pale ale, this one is really dry and mineral with some tobacco and piney, not spicy maybe due to the time, a bit fruity, 06.04.22, at Epalinges

It is a pleasant pale ale, in fact light, not so far than a session IPA, aromatic, bitter a bit short after the first sip, 24.06.18 at Prélaz.

11.2 oz bottle purchased at Monument Wines and Spirits in Concord, California shared at a tasting. Brewed and Bottled on 05/04/12 on the label. The pour is opaque black with a thin light tan head. The aroma is soy, ink, sugar cane sweet and roast. The taste is chalky, soy, chocolate fudge, oily, char roast and grass towards the back. Quite a bit going on with this beer. Some minimal oxidation present. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation, the body thins out toward the finish leaving a somewhat odd mouth feel. Fun one to try with this amount of age.

330ml bottle, Pours a deep dark brown body under a covering fawn coloured head leaving spotty lacing behind. Attractive on the nose with moments of chocolate and dried fruits, smoothly roasted. The taste profile follows suit with chocolate-caramel impacts blended with dried fruits. Lingering finish, warming down the swallow. Perfect as a slow sipper on a Friday eve. Good luck to Menno with his new brewery in Catalonia. (Tromsø, 23.01.2026).

Amberkleurig bier met mooi stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig, erg droog en licht kruidig met veel hop, wat hars en dennen. De basilicum heb ik niet kunnen bespeuren.

bb 3/24, bought on the basis of never gunna see its face again. Black, a little gloopy, a few tan bubbles. Rich chocolate fudge, roast, Welsh cake, spice and whisky aroma. Maybe there's just a little orange peel, but I'm sure that's suggestion. But there is a little there in the taste along with some hard spices, oak and the usual roast, cakey fudge etc. Still some bitterness. Low but some carbonation, not quite syrupy. A little bit upsettingly good TBQF.

Backlog November 2009. Unclear orange body under an off-white head. Aroma of ripe fruit, spices and banana. Taste is sweet and fruity with some bitterness. More bitter than a typical weizenbock. Quite nice.
