Аромат ванильный, немного винный, алкогольный, сильный в целом. Пена легкая кофейная, цвет как и положено угольно-черный. Вкус весьма мягкий, винный, в меру сладкий, ванильный. Послевкусие начинается с хорошей кофейной кислинки. Далее идет добротный бельгийский шоколад. В целом очень сбалансированный Имперский стаут.

Bottle. Black with huge brown head. Massibe peat smoke up front. Dark chocolate, raw cocoa, more smoke, earthy, blackberries, marzipan, toffee, tar, pudding. Solid sweet and bitter. Thick full body. Like licking an ooooold peated whisky Barral and quickly taking a sip of sweet RIS. Very extreme, but classic De Molen style. I'm into it.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, some liquorice, notes of juniper, gin, wood. Some alcohol in the finish. Medium sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full body. This works really well.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is ripe-ish stone fruits, citrus, some floral notes, yeast, softly spicy. Flavour is light sweet, light tart. Body is medium. Somewhat herbal, fruity, bit dry. Nice.

Bottle. Big caramel aroma with stroopwafel, brown sugar, cinnamon, syrup. Massively sweet and sticky with some booziness in the finish. Full body. Kinda fun, but so damn sweet. Literal liquid stroopwafel.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is malt, piney hops, notes of grapefruit and orange, caramel, pine. Medium bitter flavour with a little more sweetness than I like for this style. Body is medium. Nice old school throwback IPA, good beer.

Brown with a creamy, dark beige head. Aroma promises roasted peanuts and vanilla with some light, fruit candy undertones. Taste is moderate sweet the whole way through. Faint, faint tartness and lots of peanuts at the end. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent. Unlike a lot of dessert stouts, you can drink a half bottle without finding it noxious by the end.

From a 330ml bottle on 29/1/2025. Pours a deep deep brown with a small to medium head that dissipates fast. The nose features dark chocolate, caramel and a touch of soy. Tastes of dark and milk chocolate, caramel, some licorice, and even a hint of the advertised bay leaf and coconut. Finishes quite sharp and roasty. Has a syrupy palate and moderate carbonation. A very solid big sipper.
