Bottled 04/2022. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells vinous, tobacco, peppery, grassy, earthy, bit lactic, nice smell overall. full body, soft carbonation. tastes grassy, earthy, bit vinous, peppery, tobacco, bit leathery, horse radish. finishes dry and bitter and lightly sour with notes of horse radish, pepper and grassy notes. nice one, but rather heavy, probably also still quite young. has potential.

Bottled 04/2022. yellow murky color, small white head. smells vinous, stone fruits, grassy, earthy, plums, lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes vinous, stone fruits, apricots, earthy, plums, white wine, peppery. finishes light to medium dry and lightly sour with notes of stone fruits, earthy and vinous notes. very good one, bit heavy but good complexity.

Orange, medium hazy body, with a tiny head. Aroma of funk, barrel, nectarine, spicy white wine. Tastes similar, with more juicy white grapes. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes vinous, moderate acidic, a bit sweet, with grapes, some nectarine. Very tasty! Perfectly balanced, with just enough acidity, lovely fruits, rustic funk and an elegant vinous finish. Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17

0,75l bottle at home. yellow murky color, small white head. smells funky, earthy, pepper, spices, tannins, vinous. nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes nectarines, vinous, stone fruits, blackberries, some jammy. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of nectarines, blackberry and jammy notes. super smooth, lovely balance overall.

Gekocht bij Poseidon Beers tijdens een stockverkoop in de garage van Sander op 30-10-2021. Thuis op 25-09-2022 onderworpen aan mijn smaakpapillen.
Dust Poufff wordt gebrouwen door de mensen van Dust Beer uit Brugge samen met brouwerij De Leite uit Oostkamp.
DUST POUFFF is een amberkleurig en wat wazig bier dat veel wit schuim aanmaakt bestaande uit niet al te grote grovere bellen die je zo hoort en ziet neerslaan, na ongeveer 1 minuut was alle schuim weg. Het bleef dan ook niet aan de glaswand kleven. Wel zie je nog wat zwevende gistpartikels en geen CO2 belletjes.
HET AROMA:
Zoetig, banaan, mout, kruidnagel, wat alcohol en een stopsel toets.
DE SMAAK:
Zoetig, hopbitterig, mout, wat koriander.
HET MONDGEVOEL:
Medium body die overgaat naar een waterige body. Een ietwat stoffige textuur en een prikkelend koolzuurgas.
DE NASMAAK:
Het weinige hopbittere vloeit wat uit, wat zoetigheid, mout en wat kruidnagel.
HET TOTAALGEVOEL:
Een onevenwichtig bier.
HET VERDICT:
Die champagnegist doet er geen goed aan, het schuim verdwijnt bijna onmiddellijk en toch heb je hier een prikkelend koolzuurgas. Het lijkt me dat hier teveel CO2 geproduceerd is. Deze maakt de zaak wel fris maar onderdrukt teveel de andere smaaksensaties.

Bottle shared by Werckmeister. Slightly hazy reddish brown with white head. Some blackberries, a bit of vinous tannins, quite earthy, some oak. A bit rough for me.

Bottle pour at Arrogant Sour Festival 2022. cloudy dark orange with white head. Funky, grapes, apple, barrel, bit vinous. Medium sourness and body. Nice.
