Goes down very easy, less hoppy than I'd expect.

375ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow with a thin, short lived, fully dissipating, white head that leaves no lace. Spicy aroma of coriander, ginger, rye, yeast, peach, apricot, lemon, white wine, oak and light funk. Spicy, fruity flavour of rye, ginger, coriander, wheat, lemon, orange, yeast, brett, grainy malt, straw, white wine and oak with a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft to almost flat carbonation. Not bad, has some complexity to it.

Clear dark brown coloured body with a bright ruby glow when held up to the light, but a very dark brown glow otherwise, all with the smallest bit of a tan head, but otherwise shows no movement at all. Aroma of super pungently strong sour cherries, funk, yeast, grapes, citrus, apples, pears and vinegar - very nice nose and super sour smelling - mouth watering! Light-bodied; Pungent sour cherry, rapsberry and strawberry flavours with rhubarb noticeable as well, all with some yeast, brett, funk, a tiny bit of malt for body, but this is all about the sour flavours - they are very nice and egg you on for another sip of the stuff. Aftertaste shows some light sweetness from apples and pears, but there is also some dry oak and grain with a lot of sour grape, cherry and fruits all through the smell into the taste and about 10 minutes after a sip! Overall, an amazing beer that is in line with La Folie, NG Belgian Red and the other standouts from the category. I’m not sure if something changed in the bottle from the previous raters, or a fan of real sours finally drank this, but this one is definitely a keeper and I hope/wish to find much more of this to cellar for even longer! Definitely worth getting/trying this if you can find it, especially if you like the style! I sampled this 37,5 cL wax sealed bottle purchased from Super Liqour Mart in Littleton, Colorado on 06-June-2014 for US$5,99 sampled at home in Washington on 17-January-2017. Flaska från Galatea/Craftbeer. Friskt bärligt syrligt, lätt anslag. Smak av vinbär, krusbär och äpple. En lätt sötma bär fruktsmakerna. Riktigt trevlig.

Riktigt trevlig sammantaget iaf.

375ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, long lasting, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee, coffee, oak and just a hint of bourbon. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee, coffee, vanilla, oak and mild bourbon in a dry finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. The bourbon barrel aging was a little too subtle, but still came out ok.

0.375l waxed bottle @ Top Hops. This one pours a mild cloudy orange colored body with a nice big lasting and lacing white head. Love the aroma. It's quite tartish in a way. Sour apricot, rhubarb, Brett and zesty small both sweet and sour kumquats. Soft woody wine and mild gooseberries. Wow, this is an absolutely mindblowing lovely aroma. Tastes just as good as it smells. It's superbly bretty, a little sourness without ever being really sour. Lemonic zesty and kinda wood tart. It's above average on the carbonation and almost growing creamy in the mouth. Sorrel and dandelions tartness. To my surprise I get lots of cured salty ham in the finish and aftertaste. Simply a wonderful tasting wild one! 18.06.2015

375ml bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow-orange with yeast particles floating around and a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet, fruity aroma of orange, lemon, lavender, white wine, brett and oak. Sweet, complex flavour of wheat malt, rye, lavender, lemon, brett, white wine, spice and oak with a dry, tart, slightly acidic finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and lively carbonation. Very nice, has some complexity to it.
