From notes. Aroma is very peach forward with other stone fruit and a light phenolic note. Hints of tropical fruit and moderate citrus. Light malt notes. We have a gusher! Huge, frothy head. Pale, cloudy golden orange with floaties. Good retention and high lacing. Flavor has a lot of peach with a moderate malt and phenolic note. Medium citrus and light tropical fruit. Moderate bitterness. Medium light stone fruit other than peach. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer but a bad gusher. Good fruit notes, but it seems to have some Brett character. What didn’t end up on the table was pretty enjoyable.

From notes taken at a tasting last week. Aroma has a weird sweet tart aroma with some citrus zest. Light tropical fruit and caramel with some weird piney phenolics. Slightly cloudy golden orange with a moderately thick, light tan head with great retention. Moderate lacing. Flavor has a moderate phenolic note with some caramel. Light tartness. Malty with citrus and moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, not a very good IPA. Its too malty for its hop and citrus profile and the mineral character isn’t great.

Notes from a tasting last week. Aroma is rather fruity with quite a bit of pineapple and mango. Moderate tangerine and citrus. A light poppy phenolic note. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow gold with small thick white head that exhibits good retention while a thin film lingers. Moderate lacing. Flavor has a medium light acidity with a nice citrus kick. Medium light tropical fruit notes with pineapple and mango. Medium high bitterness. Light pale notes. Medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice sour IPA but there was a bit of an off phenolic note. The acidity really cuts through the bitterness and helps make the tropical fruit and citrus shine.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan / brown head. Aroma is complex, with bourbon, vanilla and cocoa. Flavour is elegant, with boozy bourbon notes, vanilla, and alcoholic finish. Very well-balanced. Surprising quality from the big guys.

Bottle brought back from my Denver trip. Pale hazy light yellow with a small off white head that quickly dissipated. Some citrus anf funkiness in the aroma. Sharp spiny saison and the brett gives it a interesting depth. Odd but nice.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle, 565, dated 3/2013. Aroma is moderately grainy and wheat based with some moderate acidity and light citrus. Faint tropical fruit notes. Pours a somewhat cloudy, pale yellow straw with a faint white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a moderately strong acidity with some lactic character and a bit of citrus. Touches of wheat notes with some faint fruit character. Not as complex acidity as in the more highly scored versions of the style. Acidity is a bit harsh and chemically. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium light carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with a lot of acidity but the complexity is lacking. Hints of fruit, wheat and malt,
