Description
Eccentric beers and shirts, this is the winning combo offered by ZYTHOLOGIST. Equipped with their colorful attire, our two Crafters produce modern beers inspired by their many travels. As their outfit indicates, they founded their micro-brewery on the Hawaiian theme.

A few years ago, Nicolas and Bruno's friendship was borned during beer tastings where all their senses were used. This beverage became quickly a common passion. This is why they started studies of zythology and experimentation with their first brews. Always thirsty for knowledge, our 2 Zythologist's began micro-brewers studies.

Pale golden. Varnish, glue, fermenting melon & plum. Sour plum, lime, varnish, quite phenolic. Tart stone fruit, hint of glue again. Quite dirty, not a reference for this series.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Batch #011. Aroma is tart apricot with citrus, some orange, stone fruit, apricot jam. Light pale malt. Flavour is tart and mild sour with some sweetness as well. Medium body. Lacks a little complexity but this sure delivers on the apricot.

10/8/9/8/10/8

Bottle from Geers. Hazy yellow, thin, white head. Strong (pungent almost) aroma of goat cheese, kettle crisps, toasted hazelnut, chestnut, hot apricot, apricot jam, plum. Taste has sour apricot & plum over a nutty, creamy, yoghurty malt base with herbal cheese notes all around. Tart apricot & cottage cheese in the finish, dominating smoother notes of nuts & dough. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Very pungent and flavoured but remaining well within the Sour Ale profile, this is something else!
