Arôme sur un bouquet fin herbacé/houblon noble oscillant vers le fleuri/pâquerette et champêtre.
Palais est sec/crisp, léger sur les grains avec une belle rondeur – pâle. Herbacé, houblonné noble vert, fini sur un effet lager assez classique, le tout presque sur une rondeur de maïs.

33cl can from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: big, snow-white, good retention. C: straw, light hazy. A: malty, citrus, floral, spicy, pineapples. T: light malty base, citrus, bit herbal, spicy, nice balanced long lasting bitterness, dry on the palate, refreshing, easy drinkable, enjoyed.

Can at home in the garden, 24th September 24. Pours off clear. Aroma is aromatic, rose, citrus, yeast. Taste is very pleasant, rose, citrus, and mellow, light tart.

Pours unclear, darker amber. Big , creamy white head. Scent is smoked, but in a sharp, almost 'fresh' way, rather than the heavy woodfire aroma found in most others. Maltyness ( bread) shines trough nicely, like ryebread and white bread, even some toast. Hint of caramel. Taste is fairly bitter. Smooth, fairly thick body. Smokeyness is up front, but doesn't overpower due to the high bitterness and strong malty presence, like a grainy bread and toast. Perhaps a touch to bitter, otherwise working fairly well.

Pours bit unclear lemonyellow, like actual lemon juice . Small layer of white bubbles , not really a head even. Scent is elderflower alright. Pretty outgoing, hiding the basebeer underneath. Taste is sharp, tart, dry . Simple lactic tartness, but the elderflower makes it more complex and refreshing. It fits the beer, even though it's not an ingredient I like it does work here. Dry finish. Bit lemony as well, to me.

Draught Good, dense, ochre-ish tinted head, leaving lace over opaque russet-ochre, well-carbonated beer. Rauchmalz, smoke, smoked herring, cigarette pushmarks on an ashtray. Oily (taste & feel) smoke, mineral. Again this smoked herring, but definitely not fishy taste (pun not intended). Almost sticky feel; medium to well bodied. Aftertaste is more bitter than the main taste. Very decent Rauchbock.

Draught Small off-white head, fast receding to rim over veiled dark orange-ochre beer. Almost smoked, but turning out to be the combination wheat-hops. The clove is there, 1-4 guaiacol. Revisiting mein Hopfen Weisse. Sharp clove and nutmeg. Oranges - but as in rind, not the juice sweetness as in many Weizenbocks. Wry character, dry backthroat feel. Medium bodied at least, wheatslick². The Schneider Hopfenweisse on steroids. Just as that one, this is a Weizenbock, not just a Weizen, let alone a wheat ale.

Draught Medium to good off-white head, very lacey, over veiled orangey ochre beer. Watercolour paint, faint white pepper, soft tobacco, ginger-y. Citrus, straw, Szechuan pepper with a really bitter (spicy) finish. Pure grapefruitpeel. Medium bodied at best, quite slick, but clean at the same time. Long lasting bitterness. In truth, just a tad too bitter for a real Helles. But it makes for a great beer...

Draught Very good, dense, white head leaving textbook lace over fully hazy pale yellow beer. Elderflower obvious, but not stiffling other floral, vegetal and herbal notes.Bit peppery as well, dried leaves/stalks. Very nice lemony character, again elderflower, herbs with citrus-like characteristics. More than a bit as lemonsquash, if seriously less sugared. Light body, very good carbonation. Another great beer. Elderflower is difficult to keep in check, but la Mule certainly succeeded!

Arôme est frais malté - pils, froment, grains concassés. Un effluve de malt se dégage surement en apport d'une dose généreuse de froment. Rétro-nasal est frais avec un houblonné noble oscillant sur du floral et terreux.
Palais est épais pris de suite par le caractère du froment qui offre une bonne onctuosité en bouche et ce côté grains/céréales. Frais houblonné noble avec une point eherbacée et finement florale rappelant le jasmin.
