A hazed golden wit with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, a classic cloves and bananas with light maple cream and orange pulp. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt, bananas and cloves, weizen like, not bad. Medium bodied. Dryish. Bottle from brewery, courtesy of Inertiaboy, shared with Diogene, Mike H. and GRM.

A hazed dark amber ale with a thin white head. A pleasant sweet malt aroma, light vinous notes with smooth hops and butterscotch. In mouth, a sweet barley wine like I2PA with sweet malt, British herbal hops, nice and lingering, treacle, warming alcohol. Quite nice for the last remains of the keg. On tap at Cheshire Cat, May 29 2010.

A dark reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. A very pleasant vinous aroma with light cinnamon notes, very fragrant. In mouth, a nice treacle malt with nutty notes, veering into Belgian territory, with nice fruity esters, light alcohol warmth, medium bodied, but still rich and interesting. A plus for Beau’s on this one! On tap at Wellington Gastropub, 6.00$

Golden-amber. Malty, caramel nose. Light nuttiness and caramel, with a vague peanut accent. A little bit of peachy ester as well. Pretty uninteresting fare.

A deep reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. A strong "boggy" aroma, with herbal notes, baked beans and light sulfur. In mouth, a lightly sweet treacle malt, with light chocolate, roasted, some metallic notes. Apart from aroma, not bad. On tap at the Elmdale Tavern, Ottawa, 6.50$ pint. April 2008.
