Description
Burton Bridge Brewery is a traditional style brewery that produces a wide range of beers.

We have stillaging and cooling equipment, will organise a selection of beers for you to approve and set it all up

For something a little different ask if we have our vintage Morris dray available. It has been on display at festivals and was used as a hearse for a funeral.

Mid-2024 the ownership of the Burton Bridge brewery has changed hands in a merger which also ensures the future of the town’s Heritage brewery.

The deal sees Burton Bridge come under the umbrella of leisure company Planning Solutions, which previously ran the National Brewery Centre in Burton, prior to Molson Coors’ decision to close it.

Rich fruity peachy and some grassy aromas. Hazy gold-amber and large off-white bubbly head. Sharp and acidic in the mouth, more peach fruit in the flavor. Med bitter finish but not really strongly hopped at all. Strong alcohol presence. Messy.

Huge stiff head sticks up out of the glass and holds its shape. Very cloudy brown color. Earthy, cheesy aroma. Sour fruity flavor, some raisin and wine notes. Some sweeter estery malts come in as it warms but remains acidic and cloying. Quite a disappointment, really.

Sampled cask conditioned. Very dark brown. Earthy, murky, roasty nose with hints of licorice, which dips into a short, slightly water mouthfeel, and a salty really bitter finish. Dry and medium bodied. I have also on two occassions sampled the bottled version, but unfortunately it was Cantillon style acidic on both occasions.

Sampled cask conditioned. Amber coloured. Big flowery aroma. Medium bodied, dry and very bitter. Dominated (in a good way) by the flowery hop aroma.

Pale amber. Thick, malty and bitter, but unfortunately also sourish like a failed lambic. (Two different bottles sampled)
