Description
The recipe for Bourgogne des Flandres was passed on to other family breweries under the watchful eye of Michel Van Houtryve. From 1985 onwards Bourgogne des Flandres was brewed at Timmermans Brewery in Itterbeek, the oldest Lambic brewery in he world. In 1993 John Martin took over Timmermans Brewery. As a result, Bourgogne des Flanders ended up in the Martin’s Finest Beer Selection among other classics.

With Anthony Martin at the helm of the company, Bourgogne des Flandres became part of the Finest Beer Selection and its reputation was reaffirmed with the creation of a new brewery just a stone’s throw from the original Den Os Brewery in 2015.

Decent flanders red ale. Nice dark ruby color, with lasting head. Sweet fruity aroma and taste. Refreshing palate.
