Sample at the taproom during the "GABF Throw-down at Beryl's!" on 10/05/2017. Clear orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, floral hop and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "GABF Throw-down at Beryl's!" on 10/05/2017. Slightly hazy dark amber color with a thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit and a touch of hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Aroma of oak, juniper and spice. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky gin, malt, yeast and spiced citrus. The finish is oaky with a juniper and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample from 2016 batch at the taproom during the "GABF Throw-down at Beryl's!" on 10/05/2017. Clear copper-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Sparse strings of lacing. Aroma of oak, malt and yeast. Light to medium body with flavors of vinous oak, roast malt and fruity yeast. The finish is oaky with a wine and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Aroma of wheat, citrus and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, citrus and touches of spice. The finish is wheaty and fruity with a bit of spice in the finish. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom during the "GABF Throw-down at Beryl's!" on 10/05/2017. The beer pours a clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, tropical fruit, malt and a bit of yeast. The finish is mildly bitter with a hops and fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Snifter at the brewery - this beer is heavy on bourbon - like, really heavy - the base that comes through is mildly oxidized, with some chocolate and coffee - barrel has added toasty oak, vanilla, cinnamon, vaguely tannic character - raisin and licorice - a lot of depth, actually - finish is all warm woodford reserve bourbon booziness - since bourbon is my jam, I'm totally cool with that - don't drink this if you are not a bourbon drinker.
