Taster at the brewery, identified as "Antero Ale Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels" - hazy Amber - smells strongly of rye whiskey, vanilla, toasted oak - medium body - heavy on the whiskey flavor, but also some pear and coconut, some apricot - finish is mostly the rye whiskey - you’d better like rye whiskey if you order this - it’s alright.

Tulip at th brewery - I’m a little surprised this brewer made an IPA, given his track record - anyway, this is well done, and more along the fruitier, maltier end of the IPA spectrum, like a somewhat less bitter SN Torpedo - hazy orange - hefty malt character, with some caramel sweetness to it, but the hops come n to balance, first bringing fruity and floral character, finishing with a fair amount of bitterness, but enough lingering sweetness to balance - a little surprised it is only 58 ibu.
