50cl Fles van Bierothek.nl. 7.8%. Helder robijnrood-bruine kleur, beige kraag. Moutig, licht fruitig, geconfijte vruchtjes, licht kruidig, rogge, caramel, lichtbittere finish. Lichte tot medium body. Mist diepgang om de hele 50cl met smaak te kunnen drinken, wordt te zoet.

"Bierwerkstatt Veldensteiner Bohemian Lager", Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Münchberg. - Schön rotgold, schwach trüb. - In der Nase sommerlich reifes Malz, angenehm karamellige Süße, leichte Butter und mittlere Hopfung mit krautig-gemüsigen Zügen. - Antrunk füllig und weich getreidig-karamelmalzig und vage malzsüß. Nussige Malzbittere und eher rauhe krautiger Hopfenherbe stören den guten Eindruck, auch leise zitronige Noten retten da nichts. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang unbeholfene Hopfenherbe mit unschöner Bittere. - Noch verbesserungsfähige Annäherung an das böhmische Original. (3.1.2025.)

A golden and murky beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has wheat, light sourness, also banana and bubblegum. Simple taste with wheat and banana. Medium bodied. Pretty nice hefe.

Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy deep golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and wheat. Flavour of lime, orange and a touch boozy. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A decent hoppy weissbier.

0,5 l bottle, BB 27.12.25. Cloudy yellow golden in the glass with a more than one finger white fine foamy head. Grainy aroma with bitter hop. Taste starts also with grain and caramel. Above average carbonation, too much in my opinion. Pale malty in the background. No buttery notes. Caramel with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle online from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours clear yellow with decent white foam Pale malts, grains, light biscuit, white bread. Light sweet on the taste, clean. Light body with foamy carbonation. OK.

Notes from September 2013 Bottle from Whole Foods Bowery. I've must of had half a dozen of this style on tap/cask, but never from glass. Served into a baby-sized mug. Bottle starting to sweat. Hazy, honey-colored brew. Not much head to speak of. Smells starchy, like pretzels, or sticky spilled beer. Maybe a touch buttery. Taste is very much the same. Subtle leafy/peppery hops. A squirt of acidity. Finish is plenty yeasty & drab & uninspired. Doesn't taste quite fresh. This is Whole Foods, but then again, you never know. Subtle carbonation, even prickly at times. Alcohol, while short, has nowhere to hide. Pretty dead compared to most I've tried on tap/cask. Some things you should seriously have fresh.

Red brown big tan head. Caramel and tea-like hop aroma. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Taste of caramel malt and herb / tea hops. Very pleasant.

Hazy deep amber with white head. Cardamom / coriander banana aroma. Light body with plenty of bright carbonation. Tangy start with banana and biscuit malt. Very good for alcohol free.
