Description
We focus our attention on brewing rustic, unfiltered, aromatic beers that are approachable and unique. We pull from our home brewing background to build beers that pay homage to tradition, but break new ground in American brewing techniques and flavors by blurring the line between beer and wine. We are brewers of big ideas in very small batches.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Piney hop aroma with notes of orange, malt, pine resin, grapefruit. Pretty bitter with a light sweetness. Nice classic resinous IIPA.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is fruity with notes of cherry pie, tart cherries and nectarines. Lighter hints of lemon and some herbal, earthy phenolics. Hints of oak. Light grain and alcohol notes.
Pours a hazy, golden orange color with a medium sized, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with slight acidity. Medium light grain notes with medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Light cherry notes, a touch medicinal. Some cherry pie and hints of nectarine. Light lemon notes. Hints of oak. Medium light herbal, earthy phenolics notes.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid barrel aged saison. Balanced acidity and fruity yeast notes. Nice fermentation characteristics.

Sample at the roost pours a clear gold with some sticky white head.  Nose is simple grist, herbal, grassy, catty too.  Flavor falls off some, there's a lightly sour note, herbal too, but feels a bit aged.  Some dandelion now.  Medium bodied.  7 7 6 6 6

On tap at Uba ja Humal, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a strange murky blend of the white wine and saison character, with some wood glue that’s quite prominent, musty grape skins, and earthiness. Flavour is a little better, with plenty of white wine grape skins, a touch of wood glue, farmhouse notes, and moderate acidity. I like the Pinot Gris notes but I’m less convinced of the rest. Decent but way subpar for SARA.

Golden, slight haze, vibrant appearance, medium head. Somewhat sticky, a bit floral, this wants some bugs to dry it out…there’s a touch of hop but yeah a bit sweet.
