Trübes goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig hopfig, grasig, trocken, bitter. Geschmack trocken hopfig, grasig bitter, dezent malzig.

Bottle at Leuven innovation festival. Clear golden with big white head. Fruity up front with apple, orange. Then some smoke, yeast, light drying grass, malts and smoked nuts. Very light sweetness with light to medium bitter finish. Quite dank too. Light to medium bodied and quite dry. Nice one.

From tap at Moeder Lambic, a gift from the owner, thanks! Italian IPA with coarse, yellowish white, irregular but stable head over a misty orange blonde beer with amber hue. Aroma of orange peel, peach, vanilla, fresh pineapple, white bread, chamomille and other field flowers, white grape peel, rosewater and banana. Fruity taste, peach, pineapple and orange peel ’citrusness’, very light sourish touch, medium carbo, sweet and honeyish maltiness, elegant and light, soft bitter hoppy finish, very floral and citrussy, more aromatic than deeply bittering, with subtle malt and yeastiness piercing through. Very pleasant and well-made IPA, one of the more soft, aromatic ones, probably intended as an English style example rather than an American style one.

Sampled draft as @ Italian Beer Festival 2015. Black, creamy mocha. Nose is sweet basic coffee, light roast, mocha, basic coffee,… Taste is creamy simple milk chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, basic coffee,… Light sugar coffee body. Light creamy oat. Basic but satisfactory for sure.

Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. It pours jet black with a thick light tan head. The nose is rich roasted malts, freshly ground coffee, cocoa and sweet orange rind. The taste is smooth, rich roast, fresh coffee, toasty, earth, cocoa, dark fruits, cereal, aniseed and mild sweetness with a mellow finish. Medium boady and soft carbonation. Tasty, yet rather mellow and quaffable. Good work.
