Description

Bottle shared at the chriso post-GBBF tasting 2014 - London. Pours unclear amber with a light, frothy white head. Tasty stuff, with notes of melon, grainy bread, orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish with further grains, orange rind, bread. OK hop expression. Good overall.

Lightly hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry with a good fine crispness. Light malts, little thin dry creamy sweetness. Hops bring a little fresh orange and lesser pith. Light dry finish. Easy going and drinkable despite it’s dryness.

Bottle shared at Christ’s post GBBF minidig 16/08/2014. Hazed golden coloured coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice hoppy, tropical fruit, midget gems, with some floral pollen notes. Flavour is composed of straw, berry and lemon hop, crisp grains and a nice floral nice. Palate is light with hihish carbonation. Good beer.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF 2014 Tasting - London. Pours unclear yellow with a frothy white head. Very nice hop character here, with notes of melon and grapefruit. Light to medium pale malt sweetness, nominal bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Juicy hop finish with more melon and grapefruit along with some orange. Quite good.

At King Arthur pub in Ciampino/Rome, draught. Oily black, gassy brown head. Nose of coffee and herbs. Mouth is gassy, spicy and a bit lack of identity. Some sourness overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft @ ML Fontainas, Italian Fest Sept ’14.

Draft @ ML Fontainas, Italian Fest Sept ’14.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Italian Beer Week-end / Zwanze 2014 CML. Black, mocha bubbles only on the side; Thick mocha smoke in the nose, touch bbq, light charcoal. Thick smoky & creamy mocha taste, chocolate hazelnut milk, caramel, light charcoal roast,..; Creamy chocolate milk body. Pretty nice stuff here even if a bit of a small mishmash of flavours here.
