Mail order from belgianstyleales.com/monastery greetings. 2019 version. Appearances are very short lived fizzy head on top of the clear honey amber liquid. Aromas are vinegary honey, malt, fruit, oak and a little spice. Flavors are similar to nose, just enough sweet to balance and barest hint of funk. Just right carbonation and the body. Refreshing and satisfying. Good beer.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 12/01/25.
Pale, almost translucent yellow, little in the way of a head.
Nose is tangy apple, pear drop, herb, subtle whisky barrel.
Taste comprises sharp apples, vanilla oak, light funk, herb, vinous tones.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close.
Tidy enough BA affair if running a touch sweet overall.

Bottle from lowcostbeer.com. Clear gold with moderate fizzed white head which settles to a thin top. Aroma has very nice subtle but inviting hints of citrus, oak, apple and barley. Taste has plenty of fruity yeast esters with apple peel, citrus and well as oak. Some funk and dry sourness in the finish. Light bodied, brett carbonation. Very nice.

Draught Transparant bubbles over crystal clear metallic old-golden beer. Woodpolish, lime, old (?!) lambic, old barrels. Ultra dry, tart lambic with a whiff of white grapes and sherry. Dry-out effect to the full, long tart aftertaste. As good as no carbonation. Nice lambic, and a serious difference with the recentely tried Talos.
