Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2018, hosted by Beerlovers Bar, Antwerp. Opaque pitch black color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, a bit buttery, some hints of brown malts. Hmm hard to describe. Meh.

Schnapp-Fläschla ( label indicates 6.5% alcohol): Hazy, deep chestnut-amber coloured, creamy and stable off-white head; moderate sweet-sourish toasty and fruity-wheaty nose with a slight bitterness underneath, accompanied by a delicate acidity as well: a moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, even though a bit tart, all in all pretty soft; drier and lingering bitter-sourish finish, accompanied by certain fruits. A very unusual Weizenbock, nevertheless quite well drinkable...

Bottle sample @ RBBWG Mar 10h. 2018, thanks Tinus.

Thank you Martinus! 1000 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG VI (2018). Black, dark brown, mocha head. Nose is herbal, dull roast, very herbal, dark bread. Taste is herbal mocha roast, almost bit sour bit thin, herbal, roast, low umami, fair but clearly imperfect, weak for the style, fair overall.

10/III/18 - 75cl swing-top bottle @ RBBWG (Beer Lover's, Antwerp) - BB: 7/V/18 (2018-279) Thanks to Tinus for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark purple brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, slightly adhesive. Aroma: super malty, quite a lot of diacetyl, very buttery, don't like... MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sourish, malty, bi acidic, buttery, red berries. Aftertaste: little bitter, some tannins, acidic, some red wine vinegar. Infected? I'm definitely not getting any chocolate notes...

500ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, foamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mandarine. Taste is minimally strawy, pale malty, and citrusy fruity hoppy, zesty hints of mandarine and lemon; thin, light, watery.

Fläschla (0.0075hl): Unclear, chestnut-amber coloured, big and slowly collapsing off-white head; toasted malt, grains and red berries in the nose, some caramelly spots as well, shy bitterness; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a modest acidity, pretty light bodied, not soft; toasted malt - again - and sweet-sour raspberries (!) In the finish, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Oh no! Not according to the style! Pity about the money...
