Good mixture. Lots of strawberry, well done. Some hay and some light citrus. Good balance, and easy to drink. Hazy orange pour with good head and lacing. Soft carbonation. Light tangy finish. Tap at GBD.

Bottle at Church Key, DC. Vintage 2014. A lightly hazy pale golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma has a light grainy touch and some cellar, quite fruity. Funky notes, peach hints, some grapefruit and lemon zest. It’s medium to full bodied, very dry and with a decent carbonation. Bitter, fruity finish with citrus zest, pine cones and a light grainy touch. Lasting light fruity finish, dry and moreish. Really nice this one, although I wouldn’t mind more body and a spiced touch. 150620

Growler. I got no hint of coffee at all in this! At most, maybe a lingering whiff of roasted bean in the glass. At most. Otherwise its flowers and black pepper. Dandelion maybe. Interesting beer but the pepperiness and dandelion-funk begins to overwhelm after awhile, not something to have a lot of. Golden, modest carb.

Keg at Cigar City Brewery, 21/02/15. Murky reddish orange with a decent light beige head. Nose is yeaste esters, spice, bitter fruit, Germaline, straw. Taste comprises herbal tones, root beer, tangy fruit rinds, straw, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Hmm... too herbal for me, reminded me of root beer.
