From the rare beer club. Sampled from a 750 corked brown bottle this beer poured an extremely murky yellow-peach color with a huge soapy yellow-white head that lingered forever and produced great lacing. The aroma was very yeasty with strong citrus and a funky peachy undertone. The flavor was spicy and tart with a strong citrus element and notes of peach, banana, yeastiness and brett underneath. The finish was long, dry and tart. Thick and full body. A rich and complex brew. Excellent.

Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Cloudy orange/brown colour, lasting beige head. Airfix glue aroma. And malt vinegar. Bit better in mouth, but pretty bad. What a difference from the Saison Athene which was stunning.

bottle courtesy of Bob @ St Somewhere pours hazy golden, fizzy white head aroma distinct St Somewhere, Belgian champagne yeast, notes of wild berries; palmetto, hibiscus adds a nice floral dimension that is subtle and not overpowering. flavor, yeasty, notes of funk and lots of tartness coming out of this one meshed up with some dark sugar and a fresh floral palate. I realized that St Somewhere’s beers just get better with age, this one will only get better with time, and I will revisit the rating in the near future.

bottle, pours a hazy light yellow with a tall frothy white head, nice lacing. Very lively. Aroma is grassy, some floral hop notes....smells like a tripel. Solid pale malts mix with peppery hop and alcohol. Nice lingering spicy bitter finish with a nice alcohol burn. Solid saison.
