Description
The Cambier brasserie is an artisanal brewery founded by Jean-Christophe Cambier. It is an urban craft beer brewery located in Croix near Lille in the North. Its philosophy is to reintroduce beermaking as close as possible to consumers.

The Cambier brewery offers a wide range of beers, inviting consumers to discover the brewing flavors of today's and yesterday's world. It brews three ranges of beers, each intended for a different audience: Mongy beers, Cambier beers and ephemeral beers.

The brewery's logo is also inspired by the brewer's star: it is a symbolic representation of brewing alchemy involving the four elements (water, fire, earth, air) involved in the manufacturing process.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Rather cautious, roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, hints of burnt coffee, mocha. Taste is bitter roasty and bitter hoppy, slightly chocolately, dark malty, notes of coffee, mocha, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, some burnt coffee, a touch of blueberry and blackberry with minimally metallic overtones; lingering, bitter roasty finish with more amalgamated notes of mocha and dark chocolate. Slightly viscous texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine and soft, creamy carbonation. Wonderful Impy Stout: Not to heavy, focussed, almost simple, very balanced and harmonious, without hyperbolic, bumptious knick-knack, just an excellent exposition of coffee flavours - exquisite.

Cambier Sabro Tonka

Bottle at tasting. Very pale yellowish color, white head. Aroma and flavor are fucking weird. Pina colada? Coconut? Bad bad bad. Dislike it. Bleh. 5-4-5-6-5
