Can from Tavour. Can foamed over. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan head. Aroma of dark roasty malt with that lactose thing. Not quite med body. Malty/roasty. Not dry. Burnt malt bitterness. Lactose all the way through.

Can (12/11/25) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Cloudy yellow with nice sparkle, ample head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is sweet/tart citrus, mild spruce. Taste is strong citrus, grape and spruce. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry finish with mild bitterness. Compared to other reviews, fair to say this should be drunk fresh as spruce seems to have faded rather quickly.

Aroma: American oak, nice spicy-ish rye, caramel, some dark fruits.
Taste: along the same lines.

Poured from a can dated 12/09/25 into a willi becher pint glass
Pours a translucent gold with 2 fingers of white foam head that settles leaving a good amount of sticky lacing
The aroma is grapefruit, orange zest, pine and slightly floral
The flavor is sweet citrus to bitter citrus peel and pine. Nice balance between the bitter and sweet
The Substance has a light to medium body leaning more towards the light end. Has prickly carbonation but the dryness and balanced bitterness make it super drinkable.
Overall this is an excellent classic example of neipa. It's not the modern sweet juice bomb but a well balanced super drinkable hoppy IPA. I'd love to try this one more fresh some time.

16 oz can. Aroma is piney, biscuity, grapefruit, chayote. Pours hazy orange-golden with a one finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness with juicy citrus and piney flavors, finishing dry.

Aromas are dark malt, toast and maybe a hint of toffee. Flavors are better than nose. Maybe a hint of coffee not overly sweet and really freaking good. This is dialed in. Just super good stout.

Draught @ Hops Hill - Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn NYC (June 2025). Extremely hazy dark yellow with a very small frothy ring of beige head, citrus peel unripe mango aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel unripe mango taste, faint alcohol undertones, thin body, long bitterish finish with some alcohol burn at the end. Solid NE DIPA.

Grassy and weedy, a little dank, fresh and green, mild pine and orange peel. Lot sweetness, sturdy bitterness, which lingers. More green, grassy hops km the finish.
