Bottle. Pours clear plae golden with no head. Clear aroma of fermented apples, with some notes yeast. Dry flavour of apples and acid, with rough touches of yeast. Acidic aftertaste. Well, cheap and perhaps cheerful but not very tasty.

Bottle, 5.5%. Good citric apple aroma. Clear pale golden colour. No head, and the Apfelwein is flat by the looks of it. The flavour is citric and watery. Has a little tannic apple core note, but not too much. Waxy finish. Thin.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from local 'trinkgut'. Clear, deep brownish red with a thin, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, gently fruity and a little artificial aroma of burnt sugar, cola, apple and a touch of raisins. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, gently fruity and a bit artificial taste of apple, cola, burnt sugar and hints of raisins, followed by a short, medium tart, slightly dry finish. Thin body, slightly astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, quite refreshing actually.

Sample, thanks to Kolschtrinker. Pours pale gold with a light mist, Aroma brings cinnamon, cloves, lemon. Taste follows in a similar fashion, light on the palate with a settled sweetness, strong herbal cinnamon notes. Quite flavoursome. Not too bad.

Small bottle from Galeria Frankfurt. Sweet apples, bit of dusty barnyard, acidic funk. Also aromas of raisins and m grandfathers wine cellar. Not what I expected. Deep gold with a burst of carbonation when poured. Sweet, minerally, cheese, funk. Rather out there. Light acidity. Not bad at all.

Sampled from 1 l bottle from 'Rudat'. Hazy, straw yellow, no head. Slightly sweetish, moderately sourish, gently fruity aroma of ripe apples. Just a bit sweet, moderately sour, quite dry, gently fruity taste of ripe apples, followed by a short, moderately tart, fairly dry finish. Thin body, moderately astringent and minimally effervescent mouthfeel, almost flat. Decent.

4/8/2018. Can from Karstadt Frankfurt Zeil. Pours hazy pale yellow with a short lasting lively white head. Aroma of apples, lemons, orange and grapefruit. Quite heavy sweetness dominated but with a quick bitter/sour bite which worked quite well. Light body, oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Sweet and sour finish. Best of the 5 Possman's I've tried.

Stark gewürziger Geruch. Wässrig säuerlicher Beginn mit gewürzigen Noten von Zimt und Nelke, viel Zitrone, unrund. Spritzig, zunehmend gewürziger, die Apfelnoten bleiben konstant aber im Hintergrund. Süffig, trockener Hintergrund, kurzer Nachhall. Okay. 5/7/7/6/5/6

Can from Galleria Frankfurt. Thin, pale golden color with bubbles at first. Mineral, sulfur, smoky nose is not inviting. Flavor is funky farts and smoke, light appke and some tart and sweet. Body is oily abd a bit lame. For sure, the worst I’ve had in 2 days here.
