On tap at astral beers. A classic west coast IPA with a less harsh and toned down bitterness. Lots of grapefruit, orange, malt, medium sweetness. Bittersweet finish. Nice stuff, could be a bit more bitter!

Tap. Chestnut skin color, ivory foam. Nose: malty, honey, caramel. The mouthfeel is extremely balanced, round malty, caramel. The finish is silky bitter.

A: pineapple, starfruit, citrus flesh, coriander, parsley.
T: sweetish banana & pineapple, sourish citrus, spices, wheat.
F: floral hops, ripe tropical fruits, citrus, warming gin-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Literally adds something to the classic Tripel, but why not hop bitterness?

Tap at Luppoli12, darker amber beer, small head. Aroma is caramel, malt, sweet, fruit. Taste is the same, light hoppy, sweet, bitter, caramel, citrus. Quite nice.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, velata, schiuma bianca media, mediamente persistente. Al naso note maltate, leggermente erbacee. In bocca parte abboccata con chiusura amara medio-leggera. Corpo leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Avrei preferito un po' di secchezza in più.

A: wheat, oats, lemon zest, lavender, coriander, vague ginger.
T: sweetish plum & pineapple; wheat, oats, spicy pepper, bit soapy.
F: herbal hops, citrus, spices, wheat.
P: medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation.
Interesting experiment; flavours work well together here, but doesn't really qualify as a NEIPA. WIPA could have been a better profile.

Can 0.33l at Valentino's pub, Palmanova. Hazy, gold colored. AROMA- strongly galangal, nice resinous tones, citrusy, juicy. FLAVOR- a bit sweet, bitter, galangal sharp, galangal flavor, citrusy, juicy. Medium bodied. Very tasty.
