Keg at Astral Beer Pube, Bologna, 25/03/23. Golden blonde with a good sized white cap that retains well. Nose is mellow tropical fruit esters, ripe melon, grapefruit, soft malts. Taste comprises melon, orange pith, grass, grapefruit, hint of lemon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Tidy enough easy drinking DIPA if perhaps lacking a little oomph.

Ma Che draught, 5/12/24. Light haze. Orange-gold. Small, off-white head, moderate retention. Lightly juicy, very fruity nose. Clean, biscuity malts. Orange, lemon, papaya, soft malts getting more grainy. Juice, malt, dryness. Clean. Forgettable but well done.

330 ml can. Unclear gold yellow with a small head. Very floral, citrusy, zesty, grainy, bready, grassy. Mild dry hoppy zesty bitterness, fruity grainy sweetness. Light bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty grainy fruity hoppy finish. It’s a lovely sessionable Kellerpils, certainly not a traditional German one, but very tasty and refreshing.

Draught Very good white head over hazy pale greenish golden beer, shards of lace. Felt, musk, lupulin, citruspeel, resin. Very aromatic & inviting. Bit sweetish main flavour, with resin, felt, and (preserved) citruspeel. Exotic fruit. Rather thick MF, creamy texture, not very carbonated. Quite good NEIPA, feels better bodied than its 6% would warrant.

Pours rather clear blonde. Soapy white head. Scent is spiced, ginger, clinical. Not great at all. Taste is overly spiced, ginger, but not very spicy. Unbalanced to me...
