BIAB @ Shrewsbury hotel. Pours hazy gold. Taste presents waxy fruit, some juice, smooth & quaffable. Can’t detect much in the way of a French influence, perhaps if it was sparkling. Decent nonetheless.

Clear golden orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is spicy woody, rum barrel sweetness, meaty. Flavour is composed of meaty cider apple. Light toffee, caramel, sweet apple. Palate is spicy sweet. Moderate carbonation. Hit alcohol. Fuck sake. Decent. 5 3 6 3 10
Bottle at home from morrisions. 5.5% A clear bright mid golden coloured pour with a crisp fading effervescence. Aroma is sweet and tangy, some alcohol prescence, woody brambles and a little plastic. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, smooth apple, vanilla. Palate is medium sweet, crisp, moderate carbonation. ok.

Keg @ Kafe Belgie. White wine coloured without a head. Nose is slightly sweet and sour apples, bit of dry carbonation smell. Flavour is moderately sweet and sour apples. Light bodied. Not much going on here, not very complex. Short and slightly dry finish. Meh.
