Description
Cider done right. That means delicious West Country cider made from fresh apple juice, using the best locally-sourced apples. Founded in 2002, we are independent, family-owned and very proud to be based in the oldest working cider mill in the UK, breathing life back into the old building. Our home in the heart of Devon is the perfect micro-climate to grow cider apples and we are blessed with some of the finest bittersweet apple orchards in the world. We press and ferment whole juice from the finest locally sourced fruit, never from concentrate. No artificial flavours or aromas, simply the best natural ingredients, and then let it age to perfection. No shortcuts. The result? Delicious, beautifully balanced and naturally refreshing cider.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours clear golden, thin ring of white head. Strong- sour cider-apple aromas, taste is chalky, bitter, light sour. Something oaky. Medium body, sticky finish. Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to.

On tap. Pours a near clear yellow with a thin, spotty white head. Aroma has rich apple with a good amount of sweetness and a light earthiness. Flavor is extremely dry with a bit of earthy apple and white wine.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy very pale yellow to white-ish color, instantly diminishing white to off-white head. Quite nice soft apple, soft sweet aroma. Tastes about the same: soft sweetness, soft apple, lightly sugary. Smooth texture. Not the best cider I’ve ever had but I quite like this one.
