Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. Yep, definitely plenty of spices in this one. Some caramel sugars. Good and rounded character. Quite pleasant, really.

Pours a cloudy amber that produces a thick off-white head. Aroma of toast, caramel, alcohol and honey. The flavor has lots of sweetness and bitterness in perfect balance. Medium palate. Hides the alcohol very well. Nice beer.

Bottle pours a murky amber mess with a thin tan head of foam. The modest aroma has dried malt syrup sticky pine resin and a touch of light skinned fruity esters. The taste is similar and starts almost neutral before it rockets into resiny pine hops and then the pine fades and leaves just the bitter hop resiny notes and a sticky malt thickness behind. This big ass beer seems almost restrained / mellowed with age, possibly. Nice sipper for sure.

Bottle: Poured a mahogany colored burnt orange with a fluffy off white to tan head. Aroma is dark fruit of plum, sweet caramel malt, and light chocolate. Taste is a dry dark fruit and chocolate, lively caramel malt that leaves just enough sweetness.

750 ml bottle from Bevmo Valencia. Nose is chocolate, roast, espresso, and a hint of smokiness. Black with a big, long lasting, heavy lacing cinnamon head. Flavor is chocolate, a hint of bitterness, sweetness, raisins, and very light alcohol warmth. Very good, smooth drinking stout.

Bottle thanks to my secret Santa! Pours a hazy amber orange with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a decent amount of spice, with a hint of light fruit/flora and backing sweet grain. Flavor has a good amount of grain with a spice backbone and a hint of a light fruit note.
