22oz bomber. Dark brown. I guess this tastes as it should, a big dark beer with brett. So sour dark malts, wet, and soppy as opposed to tight, clean malts. It’s just not fun. The brett is not funky but off as slight sour malts. But I’m glad I got to drink k this, thanks Jeremy.

Draught at the bar twentyfourseven inside of Gothia Towers Hotel in Göteborg, on January 29, 2016.Served in a glass shaped as a beer can with no lid, lokoed nice and was nice to drink from. The pump clip stated 6.5% ABV.Clear golden color, dense white head. Bitter, resin, some cream and a tad caramel taste. Slight metallic, citrus, rahter bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, high to almost very high bitterness. Hoppy herbal scent. Not sure about this one, feels focused on bitterness. Not a lot of fresh hops. Doesn’t intrigue, doesn’t excite, doesn’t stick out.

Dark amber color, hazy, with compact head. Light malt aroma. The flavor is based on caramel and malt, fairly sweet; it has a metallic feeling, unexpected, and there is no grapefruit trace. Muddy yeast in the final. I asked to confirm, and I should have had the right beer, unless they messed with the keg.
This glass contains an imprecise Amber Ale.

22 oz bottle poured. Pours a reddish brown with a ton of foam head. Candy sweet caramel malt with a bit of maple. Soft cherry, plum and other dark fruit flavors throughout. This was a little rough at first for me, but it grew on me a ton as it went. Bit of an earthy flavor and dusty finish. Very unique. Not bad.

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours a deep dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out funky brett, some bourbon, and tart fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of brett, bourbon, tart cherries and oak. Cohesive and well-balanced, without too much booze. Very solid stuff.

On tap at Stateside, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma certainly brings out the brett upfront, along with vinegar, soured red fruits, and wood. Flavour is very complex and quite elegant, with a fantastic mix of brett, medium soured dark fruits, light wood, and a touch of vinegar. Very bretty and perfectly tart. Everything is harmonious and in balance. Excellent beer - the best I've had from Odin.

Draught at Coastal Kitchen, 11/8/15.
I’m honestly not sure if this is the correct beer. All I know is that it was described an IPA from Odin and the tap handle said "Limited release" or "Seasonal offering" or something like that. So I assume it’s not their mainstay Asgard which leaves only this or Sigrun IPA. The brewery very infrequently uses social media, so it’s impossible to say, really.
Lightly hazy, dark copper beer has a foamy white head with strong retention.
Heavy hop nose shows heavy orange rind, white grapefruit and some lighter notes of peach and nectarine. Sourdough-like maltiness does nothing to allay this and I’m left with another of the type of unbalanced IPAs that I really don’t care for.
Same in the flavor with way too much toastiness from the malt, bitterness from the hops and heavy acidity just exacerbating it all. Dextrinous, fairly well-attenuated body at least attempts to soak up some of this, but it still falls well short in the end.

Growler from Albertsons. Seeing a wide variety of scores here, and I’ll go with the downside, average at best, with a flat metallic finish. Might be closer to a brown ale than an amber, but that wouldn’t improve any scores....
