Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazed orange-gold color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lace. Aroma of floral hops, pine and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, fruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a floral hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pours clear dark gold into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Sour cherry and funk aromas. Sour, tart underripe apricot, mango, cherry, raspberry and sour lemon front to back. This is a sour.

375mL bottle drunk 7/21/17.
Deep auburn-mahogany with bright cherry red hues on the edges when held to the light. Deep beige, amber-tinted head, shows good retention for the style.
Nose is a bright but not overly acetic mix of cherry, raisin, tobacco, black pepper, soft oak tannin and vanilla/honey-like malts on the finish. Wonderful clarity to the bright fruit notes and strong Brett character but has a good backbone of acetic/lactic acid as the style dictates. Clean, no alcohol or really anything unwanted for the style here.
Bright, clear and crisp which you don't really get much from this style. Where most are heavily acetic/acidic, heavily tannic and full of caramel and toffee, this leans quite heavily on both brett, vanilla, light oak and strong, vibrant cherry fruitiness. Perfect attenuation/carbonation/texture providing balancing malt sweetness though without any sluggishly heavy caramel. Long fruity, Brett and lacto-laden finish helps cleanse the palate and prepare for the next delicious sip. A great one for sure.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a cloudy orange color with a huge soapy orange-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was very strong leafy, piney and herbal hops. The flavor was bitter and leafy with gritty floral hops. Very long hoppy finish. Medium body. Ok

750 ml bottle from Craft Beer Cellar, Amesbury about 5 months ago. It pours a near clear golden with a nice white head. The aroma was of yeast, lime peel, mild botanical and a good amount of citrus. Good wheat backbone. The gin barrel is subtle, and the botanical element is low. Soft mellow carbonation/ airy mouthfeel. Pretty nicely crafted.

75CL from AFH. Very nice clarity. no floats, a light straw yellow 1 finger off-white head. Smells realy well balanced. wheat, lemon, lime, juniper and other botanicals. Flavor is a little soapy with juniper, sugar, honey, the finish is light and very basic, no lingering flavors at all. The body is middle-weight and oily. Tasty, the soap is a put off. it's not a ton of gin.

Crisp copper coloured body with a nice lightly hazy glow and a good, three centimetre tall off-white head on top. Aroma of honey, flowers, pungent earthy malts and a good deal of sugars throughout, all with a noticeable alcohol bite near the tail end. Full-bodied; Strong pungent honey and sugars at first that give way to a strong robust malty flavour and a large alcohol presence with some apricots and other fruits noticeable towards the tail end. Aftertaste shows more of the pungency from the alcohol and sugars than the lighter notes, but there are some of the yeast and the lighter spice notes of coriander seed and a bit of some grain. Overall, a decent-ish tripel that shows some good sides, but nothing entirely enjoyable or cohesive throughout. Nice to sample, and at this price point/location, not a bad option! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 11-April-2017 for US$9,99 sampled at home in Washington on 15-October-2017 in celebration of my oldest daughter's fifth birthday - Happy Birthday Claire!
