34,1 cl bottle @ home
Aroma is malty with strong mocha notes, vanilla and cocoa. Flavour has salty licorice, woody notes, tobacco, coffee notes, vanilla, honey and ash. Palate is slightly too high on CO2. Just delicious.

A murky golden gose with a thin white head. In aroma, classic smooth and sour cherry, mineral quality, nice. In mouth, a refreshing sour Gose with light salty notes, cherries, nice. On tap at Bières et Saveurs 2013.

Tap at Little Delirium. Deep amner-orange, clear, medium-sized fine head. Rich malt nose, caramel, treacle. Sweet, fruity flavors of orange, caramel, raisin, fig. Very drinkable and likeable, though a bit simple. Hides alcohol well.

Bouteille 341ml.

Not that bad for a lager. I just got off the Megabus in Montreal and walking towards Dieu Du Ciel drinking the first thing I found in the Depanneur that came with a paper bag.

25 cl. draft @ Delirium Tap House. Black with some ruby hue and a beige head only on the sides. Smells very sweet with lots of brown sugar, syrup and dark fruits. Taste is similar, very heavy and sticky with Liège syrup, dark fruits syrup, thick brown sugar, caramel and some maple syrup. Slightly sticky body – not sure about the score on here but I certainly did enjoy it but than again I quite like very sweet beers.

15 cl. draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Surprisingly dark for an IPA, copper brown with a faint ruby hue with a beige head. Definitely hoppy but not heavily with some pine and grass notes but a lot of caramel and toffee malts for an IPA with a definite sweetness, bready with some bisquits and touch bitter esters in the finish. Lightly oily body. Quite atypical but certainly not bad.

Bottle: Poured a clear pale yellow color lager with a small white foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of lightly sweet cereal with some corn adjunct notes. Taste is also dominated by bland flavours with light corn adjunct notes. Light body with OK carbonation. I understand what the brewery is trying to achieve but cutting back on some adjunct would have been a way to improve this.

Draft @ Delirium. Cuivrée-acajou, col fin beige.
