5 oz. draft. Pale cloudy yellow appearance. Flavor has a good amount of tropical fruits. Easy malt backbone. Soft mouthfeel. No bitterness l. Nice surprise!

Can shared in London - think a family member gifted me this one. Vintage 2016. Pours lightly muddied amber-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Moderately rich, not overly sweet, some toasted toffee, brown bread, mellow earthy hops, alcohol, vanilla. Full bodied, lightly oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, notes of old wood, toasted malts, burnt caramel, a scattering of dried berries. Really solid overall.

Can. Thanks to LKS. Semi opaque amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, mildly dry; decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a little creamy sweetness. Smooth bourbon, ripe fruity bourbon. Very mild spice. Smooth light dry finish.

Can from Beer52. Brownish amber with a thin off-white head. Bit of metal, quite a bit of caramel and a light fruitiness. Creamy mouthfeel. Mild bitterness with a hint of grass. Distinctly sub-par.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Bert's Better Beers. Appearance is deeply hazy orange-yellow with light sparkle, finger-width, off-white fizzy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, orange, mild tart fruit. Taste is dominant tropical fruit, milder citrus and light malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste with mostly sweet but lightly bitter finish. Overall, has the basics down for a NEIPA though not the strongest or most varied flavors and a bit overcarbonated.

Can from beer52. Hazy amber colour with a white head. Taste malty caramel. And slightly dry. Medium body.

12oz can from Beer 52; canned on 4th Mar 19, drank at home on 21st Apr 19. Nice easy drinking uncomplicated red/amber ale. An off-white head sat on the clear and clean body, some malty esters filled the air and my first sip, like the last held a flavour of semi-sweet malty molasses. Well (or highly) carbonated, but I really enjoyed it.

Aroma has tropical hints, grass, citrus. Flavor is bolder than I would have guessed for this brewery. Grass, bolder citrus, and tropical. Texture has juice. Better than anticipated.

(2017 Edition) Can pour into tulip glass from The City, Plaistow. Appearance is cloudy dark brown (like really muddy river water, but not in a bad way) with fair amount of light floaties, nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width beige head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon over sweet caramel malt. Taste is first half bourbon, 2nd half more caramel sweet with raisin/dark fruit and hints of chocolate and coconut (improves as it warms), with return of bourbon at the finish. Palate is medium bodied with thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation, pleasant alcohol warmth and bourbon dominant finish. Overall, not very complex as there are just two aromas/flavors here, but they work together pretty well. At first, I thought the bourbon might be a little strong, but it kind of needs to be as a balance to the underlying barleywine and prevents it from being overly sweet.
