Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is hazy light brown, 1/2-finger width of foamy light brown head with mild lacing. Aroma is strong, astringent lemon (like industrial cleanser), floral. Taste is strong astringent lemon, like drinking Pledge. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this one went awry. Didn't want to finish even a taster pour amount.

Draft at the brewery. Pretty amber color with an off-white head. Great lacing. Indistinct aroma. Good malty caramel flavor. Smooth. Very little bitterness. More lager characteristics versus an ale.
