Accents céréaliers et floraux, verdure, soupçon de pain, touche d’épices font foi d’un olfactif complexe et élaboré. Liquide doré pale, parfaitement limpide et fortement effervescent. Mousse pétillante et rocailleuse qui se maintient assez bien. Florale et herbacée en bouche, mettant parfaitement en vedette les houblons. Une touche poivrée s’immisce dans la palette. Petite douceur miellée des malts. L’amertume est franche mais pas agressive. Un dry-hop avec houblons nobles s’avère fort différent et fortement intéressant. Bien complexe et intéressante. Agrumes aux notes de pamplemousse, accents poivrés, houblons résineux et grassy composent un olfactif intense faisant foi d’un houblonnage à cru. Couleur dorée, limpide et pétillante. Mousse épaisse et rocailleuse qui se maintient assez bien. Poivre et agrumes sont au rendez-vous en bouche avec surtout une amertume intense issue du dry-hop avec ses notes de résine de pin, de résine de houblon (grassy). Une présence maltée miellée est bien sentie. Un retour à la tradition des West Coast bien grassy que l’on dégustait il y a une dizaine d’années. O:7.12 V:5.0 G:8.5 C:4.0 G:16.22 T:40.88

Can from beerrepublic. Unclear orange golden color with white head. Aroma of oranges, tangerines, zest. Taste is oranges, zest, light fruity sweetness, citrus hops, toast. OK.

(473ml can from Intermarché Saint-Jean, bought for making beef stew) Pours nearly black with a thin beige head that fades to a ring with lace. Aroma of brewed coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, purple grapes, moderate roast grains, touch of licorice. Flavour is lightly sweet up front, fruity purple grape maltiness, semi-sweet chocolate, brewed coffee, burnt grains, dark bread. Finish is bone dry, light to moderate bitterness, cacao nibs, toasted cereals, minerals, spent coffee grounds, touch of licorice. Very crispy mineral water profile overall for style, I found, giving a watered-down vibe. Light body, overcarbonated but improves with some swirling to lessen the soda water feel. Competent if unexciting basic stout, bought for cooking but it only used 1/6 of the can. Would use it again for that purpose given the price.

Hazy golden colour with an orange hue, a big frothy-creamy white head, good retention and leaving thick soapy-foamy lacing. Seems like the Nectaron hops take the top in the aromas with peach notes, hints of pineapples and some perfumy touch. I still get a lot of grassiness, which continues in the taste. The mouthfeel is creamy, smooth with some building dryness, but slowly built - nice. Again, some peach-pineapple flavours with all of the citrus and some grassy tad. A nice hazy, juicy DIPA that is different from NEIPA, as has 100% New Zealand hops that adds more of a grassy feel.

Hazy pink-red-orange colour with a fizzy pinkish-white head, not lasting too long and no lacing left. Berry, sour nose. The taste shows nice sourness that lingers with fruits blending well. A refreshing, fruity-berry, sour wild ale with more alcohol, less tart - which I prefer.
