[44cl can from my local Co-op] Looks like cider, tastes like cider, otherwise pretty nondescript. A paleish pour with a short lived fizz; floral aroma; dry with an apple taste; and no off flavours. Straightforward and drinkable.

2 litre clear plastic container; BB 11th Nov 2021. Shared with my son in the afternoon sun on 4th Apr 2021 (Easter Sunday). Cheap apple tasting cider. Had worse, certainly had better!

2L Plastic Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Hebden Bridge. Would have preferred the canned version as it's pretty standard stuff, reminding me of stuff I drank as a teenager. Fair apple aroma and taste, and it is a tad dry in its finish.

440ml can. Eye - pale gold, big fizzy head which dissipates quickly to nothing. Aroma - stale apples, sugars, artificial additives. Taste - watered down apple juice, glucose, quite tart, semi-dry finish. Its strangely quite pleasant together even if artificial. Palate - medium bodied and syrupy, moderate carbonation Overall - not great but there is a lot worse out there.

500ml bottle from Asda. Ok only joking it was Co-op Eye - clear light amber/dark gold, small white head, decent retention. Nose - sweet biscuit malts, light floral hops, hint of astringency; stale English traditional IPA aroma. Taste - sweet biscuit malts, too watery in the middle but some citrus and fruity hops is noticeable. Its slightly tastier than I was expecting without being great. Palate - light to moderate body, moderate carbonation, quite dry but I wouldn't say astringent. Overall - mediocre

500ml bottle. Eye - clear dark gold. small white head, nice retention but very slow moving carbonation for a 4% beer. Nose - biscuit malts, grain, hint of citrus. A bit dull. Taste - biscuit, a slightly sour citrus note then bitterness kicks in with a stale dry cracker/Ryvita. I guess this is the 'twiggy' people mention. Palate - light bodied and wet but then quite a dry astringent finish. Carbonation had a bit more zing than I thought but could do with a touch more. Overall - drinkable but a poor English golden ale.
