Description
The Anstee family began supplying the hospitality trade in South Wales with beers, wines and spirits in the early 90’s. The knowledge and community ties established during this time gave us a real desire to see quality Welsh beer back on local bars. So much so we thought we’d brew some ourselves, starting out as the Kite Brewery in 2011. In 2015 and with our beers now winning awards and wider recognition we decided a new name was in order.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Rochdale. Golden with an extremely thin head. Bland effort, a tad hoppy-soapy in design.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Rochdale. Clear golden with a dullish glow and a small head. Session brew, easy hoppy and pleasantly so, helped by a soft texture. Some bitterness, which is exadurated in its aroma.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Bodø - Sentrum. Crocheted lacing from a stable off-white head, almost clear amber body. Inviting smell of leafy hops and bread-like malts, semi sweet. Mixed taste character of leafy hops and mid-sweet malts. Drying malt-fruity finish, bittersweet. Drinks quite well. Decent stuff.(Bodø, 22.06.2024).

Never tasted a dead canary before, so no idea how authentic this is. Perhaps best drunk in a coal mine?

Keg @ Royal Oak, Saundersfoot. Golden glowing amber with a creamy-smooth head. It has a bushy-floral hoppy-bitterness, although it's not that bitter.
