On tap at the Cotham Porter Stores, Bristol 20/12/10. Hazy amber with a slight, off-white head and moderate carbonation. A decent enough keg cider with, for once, some tart character and a pleasantly dry finish. Pretty good.

Bag in a box at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Very pale almost clear gold. Sweet pear on aroma. Yes, it’s too sweet. Cold, refreshing, but too sweet. Some pear flesh in mouth. OK. No bad flavours or anything out of place otherwise than it is a sweet pear flesh drink.

From a polypin at the Bristol Cider House, 11/09/10. Hazy amber in colour with slight carbonation. Aroma of sugar and dessert apples. Flavour began dryish, with some barnyard character before the sweetener kicked in at the finish. Ok.
