On cask at Sitwell Arms at Whiston - clear straw coloured body with a lasting white head. Taste is a dry grassy bitterness finish but with a sweet start. Refreshing blond whicb goes down well.

On cask at Elmwood Farm, Beighton - Hazy gold, solid white head. Nose is unremarkable, with the taste dry and clean. Decent session beer.

Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr. Appearance - bright and golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - yeast and mineral notes dominate the faint citrus. A little floral though. Taste - again mostly yeast and mineral. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeast notes are dominant and it’s somewhat chalky, but it is refreshing.

Handpull cask at the Flying Scotsman, Doncaster. Golden and slightly hazy. Big tight white head on top. Odd aroma, a bit of citrus hop notes with plastic and a hint of sulphur. Refreshing bittersweet taste turning more bitter for the finish. Some apricot manages to raise its head above a parapet of acrid bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad but has a few issues.

Handpull cask at the Flying Scotsman, Doncaster. Mid-gold, clear as a bell with a small tight white head and a respectable amount of lacing on the glass. Stone fruit, citrus and some spicy yeast - a hint of saison-y type notes - on the aroma. Taste is clean and bittersweet, turning more bitter until the finish. Slightly overripe nectarine in the aftertaste. Good and unusual.

On tap at The Lime Kiln, Bristol, Saturday 23rd April 2016 on our way to a gig by Explosions in the Sky at The Colston Hall. Fairly standard bitter, some caramel, fruity with a leaning to be quite sweetish, but it is fine. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov12 3.1
