Cask-conditioned, in the company of imdownthepub at the Gryphon, Bristol 27/4/2019. Deep, ruddy-brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Brown sugar, a touch of berry fruits, vaguely toasty, bready, malts and a gentle finish. Fine.

8/6/2018. Cask at the 27th Doncaster CAMRA Beer Festival. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, citrus, passion fruit, wood and nut. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Fruity and moderately bitter finish. Enjoyable.

8/6/2018. Cask at the Draughtsman, Doncaster. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, hint of liquorice, dark fruits and berries. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Nice brew.
