Description
Blue Bee Brewery is an independent brewery in the heart of the valley of beer in Sheffield, England.

Blue Bee was set up in 2010 by Richard Hough, former head brewer at Abbeydale, who has also done stints at Acorn, Crown, Spire, Raw and Marble. Starting his own brewery allows him to use this invaluable experience on his own terms, creating beers that are noted for “quality, consistency and with a slight addiction factor”. In 2014 the business was acquired by Reet Ale Pubs, which runs three pubs in Sheffield.

Cask @ Closed Shop, Sheffield [210314] [From memory as notes lost]
Very light blonde, thin dense white head. Herbal, citrus aroma with very light pale malts underneath. Citrus dry bitter zest, herbal hop flavours, very light pale malt background, thin mouthfeel, found the a finish a bit harsh and dry. Found the hops astringent, too much bitter dry zest as I recall. I wasn’t all that keen on this.
