Clear golden color with no head. Mild aroma with some malty notes. Medium body and a flat carbonation level. Unbalanced sweetness. Malty and some weird fruity notes. Quite horrible actually. Can not belived I really payed for this.

Keg at The Flying Horse, Gatwick S Terminal. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, lemon - lime, lemongrass, biscuit and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, biscuit malt base, pithy, lemon peel, straw, lemongrass, pepper, resin and metal with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A touch metallic and more malty than I would like. So-so.

A classic English bitter and I did like it. Biscuit, bitter hops, soft malt, low carbonation and a pleasant mouthfeel. There was also a surprising and welcome complexity to the beer and it was well integrated. What’s not to like?

On tap at the Strugglers Inn, Lincoln. Almost black colour with a thin pale tan head. Aroma has chocolate, not a big as the name would make me think, with roasted malt. Taste is a touch milk chocolate. Medium body
