500ml bottle. Clear, pale amber colour with average, thick, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Floral, minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, a cautious touch of peach. Taste is moderately bitter, slightly husky, floral hoppy overtones, cautious hints of peach.

Half pint, keg at Fountains Abbey pub in Paddington. Bright pale golden body, pearl white head. Moderate grass fruity smell. Mild mixed taste of grainy malts and grassy hops with a citric input. Distant bitter ending. Easy going with satisfying refreshment (London 30.09.2016).

Aroma of soft fruits, light apricot, very faint nose
Taste is just bitter, very little flavour apart from just bitterness, no flavour in the middle, just bitter water
Palate - Light body, watery, slight sour. FInish is dry, very bitter, slight cereal
Overall - Looked good, poor flavour and palate

Caskat Akkurat, Stockholm. Near black. Mild licorice aroma. Dryish with light body and well rounded mouthfeel. Light flavours of coffee, licorice and aniseed, notes of fudge. Growing somewhat resiny bitterness.

Cask @ Angleterre. Mahogany color, thin white head. Nutty, tart, vinegary nose. Tart, berries, vinegary notes in flavor. A beer in bad shape unfortunately.

Bottle from the London Food Centre, Grays Inn Road, London. Pours light gold with an average white head. Aroma of corn, citrus, lemon zest and grass. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Average carbonation. Typical pilsner body, but texture much smoother than average. Finishes well with a nice bittersweet edge. Enjoyed this more than I would typically enjoy this style.

Can at home in London - sourced from Offie & Toffee. Pours mostly clear gold with a small, foamy white head. The nose holds tangy citrus fruits, grainy pale malts, hints of berries. Light sweet flavour with lemony tang, some metallic notes, woody dryness, leathery berries, more grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with mild astringency, some subtly harsh grassy bitterness, more metallic impressions, tangy berries, citric twang, grains, wood, some leaves. Not great.

(Cask at Kitty’s, 20160909) The beer amber and clear. Its head was small, dense, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, creamy toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were pine, creamy toffee, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good hoppy cask ale.
